1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Maverick Desks website (maverickdesks.co) and our recruitment and talent placement services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.

2. Services Description

Maverick Desks provides recruitment and talent placement services connecting US-based companies with professionals in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our Services include:

• Candidate sourcing, screening, and vetting
• Talent matching and placement facilitation
• Recruitment consultation and hiring strategy support
• Complimentary AI skills training for placed candidates

3. Client Obligations

As a client using our Services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your hiring needs
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate information shared during the recruitment process
• Not circumvent Maverick Desks by directly hiring candidates outside the agreed placement terms for a period of 12 months from introduction
• Notify us promptly of any changes to your hiring requirements

4. Candidate Obligations

As a candidate using our Services, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and complete information about your qualifications, experience, and work eligibility
• Notify us promptly of any changes to your availability or employment status
• Not provide false or misleading information during the vetting process

5. Placement Fees & Guarantee

Placement fees are determined on a per-engagement basis and detailed in a separate service agreement. Our standard terms include:

• 30-Day Replacement Guarantee: If a placed candidate separates from employment within 30 days of their start date, we will source a replacement at no additional placement fee
• Payment terms are outlined in individual service agreements
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Maverick Desks or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. The "Maverick Desks" name and logo are trademarks of Maverick Desks.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the course of our engagement. This includes, but is not limited to, candidate profiles, client hiring plans, compensation details, and business strategies.

8. Limitation of Liability

Maverick Desks acts as a recruitment facilitator and does not guarantee candidate performance or employment outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maverick Desks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our Services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement with 30 days' written notice. Maverick Desks reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services for violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting to this page. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated to active clients and candidates.
